Medieval Tile Designs (Dover Pictorial Archive Series)
Published in Paperback by Dover Pubns (January, 1998)
Average review score:

Wonderful Repeat DesignsThere are lots of bold black/white designs in this book. The designs are heavy on animals, griffins, fleur-de-lis, and heraldic motifs, but all are nice. Some designs are very simple and bold, and others have lots of detail. My favorites are the repeat designs.

Another GreatThis boom is a must for any cruise ship lover. See the beginnings of the cruise ship era with ships like the Canberra and QE2, before seeing the modern RCCLs. Miller does another great job with this one with not only the pictures, and stats, but also the facts.

If you're Crazy About mice...!This little book of mouse stickers is really neat! There are 20 stickers of mice doing the cutest things! Playing baseball with a Q-Tip for a bat and sleeping in a nut shell are my favorites. If you or your kids like mice, I recommend this. Can't beat the price either!

Mr. Scarborough's Family (Dover Books on Literature and Drama)
Published in Paperback by Dover Pubns (December, 1989)
Average review score:

One of Trollope's best. This is one of my favorite Trollopes (and I've read 35 so far)! It is witty, clever and has plot twists worthy of the best suspense writers. This one deals with one of Trollope's favorite topics -- the law -- with the usual romantic crises thrown in, of course. Excellent book and I highly recommend it.

The New Shakespeare
Published in Paperback by Cambridge Univ Pr (Pap Txt) (June, 1969)
Average review score:

Shakespeare's PoetryThis book is fantastic! You get Venus and Adonis (erotic love poem), Rape of Lucrece (roman rape poem), Lover's Complaint (about the dangers of Love), Phoenix and the Turtle (symbolic of Love and Faith), and of course 154 lovely SONNETS.
David Bevington's introductions are short and informative; the footnotes are there for guidance and do not interfere with the text. A wonderful text. Buy it and take it to the beach.

Nonsense Poems (Dover Children's Thrift Classics)
Published in Paperback by Dover Pubns (May, 1994)
Average review score:

Don't be scared off by word "children's"Even though this is part of the Dover Children's Thrift Classics series, this volume of poetry can be equally enjoyable for older folks. Hey, even a college student like me can enjoy verses like, "There was an Old Man of Three Bridges,/Whose mind was distracted by midges;/He sate on a wheel, eating underdone veal,/Which relieved that Old Man of Three Bridges." The illustrations accompanying each poem add to the bright, innocent humor that Lear excelled at writing.
